1. Nature of Service
SMJSS provides independent professional assessment of medical-negligence-related case submissions. SMJSS is not a law firm, does not provide legal representation, and does not provide medical advice or diagnosis. Nothing on this website or in any communication from SMJSS constitutes legal or medical advice.
2. Free Submission
The "Share Your Case" submission is a free, preliminary record only. It does not include a review, response, or assessment of the case. Only an acknowledgement with a reference ID is provided.
3. Paid Case Assessment
The Detailed Paid Case Assessment fee (currently ₹999) covers a professional review of the complete facts, documentation, and supporting evidence you provide.
- Payment of the assessment fee does not guarantee acceptance of your case, a favourable assessment, further support, compensation, or any outcome.
- The assessment fee is for the review process only, and is non-refundable once the assessment has begun, except where required by applicable law.
- SMJSS reserves the right to decline to proceed with a case at its discretion, including after payment, if the case is found to fall outside the scope of the service or to lack sufficient supporting evidence.
4. Further Support
If an assessment indicates that further support may be appropriate, this is offered as a separate, subsequent stage and is not included in, or guaranteed by, the assessment fee.
5. No Fabricated or Misleading Evidence
SMJSS will not create, alter, encourage, or knowingly support false, fabricated, or misleading information or evidence in any case. Submitting false information may result in the case being declined at any stage.
6. Accuracy of Information
You are responsible for the accuracy and authenticity of the information and documents you submit. SMJSS relies on the information provided by you for its assessment.
7. Limitation of Liability
SMJSS provides case assessments based on the information available at the time of review. SMJSS is not liable for outcomes of any legal, regulatory, or medical proceedings you may subsequently pursue, whether or not related to an SMJSS assessment.
8. Confidentiality
Case information and documents are treated as confidential in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
9. Changes to These Terms
SMJSS may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of this website or its services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
